2026 Lexus ES
Had a chance to finally see the new Lexus ES in person the other day. Have to say... I was worried when I saw the marketing photos, as the design is very different from the prior ES and has some, I'll say, unique features. Was not impressed by the photos. However, I always wait to judge a car's design until I have a chance to see it in person. The new ES looks much better in person than it does in photos. Yes, it's a large car... quite large. But the unique design features work quite well once you see the car in the flesh. Even that strange black trim angling down along the side works... as it breaks up a quite large (vertical) side to the car. (I expect more cars to copy such a design feature). I'm sure the styling will still not be to everyone's taste, but in person it does have a certain presence and many of the design features do work.
